Steel canister set...Lets face it, they needed help!

Hello!

I got these steel canisters that I wanted for wedding presents. I looooove stainless steel, but I had no idea what I was in for. These little suckers leave rust rings everywhere. I moved them away from the sink thinking that would help but at last, I still have rust rings on my counter! I need a solution. Then I thought of these little glass beads that I have a million of left over from my wedding. I got a great idea to glue them to the bottoms....

I used E6000 Glue. Im not sure if that is the perfect glue to use but so far so good, so I'm not complaining. I just wanted something not too noticeable that I could pull of at some point if I didn't wan them there anymore.

This is what they look like sitting on the counter.

I really think you can hardly see them, and if you did you might think they were made that way. No one has noticed or commented on them in my kitchen so it much not stick out! The best part....NO MORE RUST RINGS!!!!!!!!!!

I must leave you with this though....mostly because I am so excited about it!

So I got to meet Ryan Cabrera night before last at his concert.
Nice guy. I've met him twice now. He never turns down a fan.
He stood outside for over an hour after his concert taking pics and talking to fans.
And he always takes a good pic. I wonder if someone trains them to take perfect pictures.
haha.
Happy shopping and Happy crafting.

No updates next week, It is finals week, so this is it for now!

Have a great weekend!

  1. That is so creative! I am so boring, I would have just used those felt sticky pad things you can buy at Walmart or hardware store! :-) I think they look cute :-)
