What I've been up to this week!

Hello all!

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Ours was good, rainy, and uneventful! I did get a few clearance buys in, and a few crafts! So, I just thought I might share them!

I made this to go over our couch (it's our last name)! The frame was clearance $5 at Michael's Craft Store. The fabric and such were on hand. Once I hang it up I will take a picture and post it, because I got something else for that wall too and it was thrifty!I got these baskets at Hobby Lobby's 80% home accents clearance!
They are cute! I'm not a fan of peach but I figure I can re-fabric the tops....maybe?
I guess we will find out soon enough!
.80 cents for the small ones.$1 for the big one.

Name brand jeans from the thrift story...still has the tags! 59.50
I got them for 5.99
Love them :)
New dress. Still had tags. It's from target originally.
the pattern up close. 3.99 thrift store.
It fits perfect. It's a wrap dress.
I adore it.
It is so comfy!
bobby pins I made. Probably Etsy store bound. This is a ring that matches.
I love it a lot.
I don't think I can put this in the etsy store.
But I might.
These were made with vintage(I think) buttons.
My grandma gave me a bucket of buttons that she got from my grandpa's mothers house
when she died. So I would assume they are vintage.....but I truly have no idea.

Anyways, I'm off! Have a great rest of the weekend!

Happy Shopping & Happy Crafting!

  2. omg, I want the bobby pins and the ring! :-)
I wish my Hobby Lobby had that great of deals!!! The I shop at doesn't really do that great a job marking things down for clearance!

  3. Great finds & deals. Yeah our 4th was pretty uneventful-I spent a good bulk of my time at the craft stores cuz I needed some stuff...and then I tend to wander (you know how that goes I'm sure).

The bobby pins are very pretty...as is the ring. I can understand not wanting to part with the ring-it's really nice.

So cool you got a bunch of buttons. My fave new store is an antique store & they have a "grab all the buttons you can fit in a bag" for $2...I have yet to do it. But I know I'll eventually do it. But I think I'll just grab a handful...cuz I could be there FOREVER picking the ones I want!

Enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend too!
